Gray Login Screen - High Sierra.

I have gray login screen and can't change it. It always was like bluer desktop background, but now just gray.

One time I made it normal with just changed background. Now it is not working.User uploaded file

When FileVault is enabled, this is normal.

You have to login twice.

First login screen has a gray background.

Quoting from below linked support article.

"If you've enabled full disk encryption using FileVault, you're prompted to enter your user account name and password to unlock your startup disk."

When a user starts up a Mac in Safe Mode, screen flickering may occur. That is normal too.

FileVault had been enabled for 6 month, but this first happened only 3 days ago. If to be accurate, after I installed Duet (https://www.duetdisplay.com/). Can it be related?

When I Restart Mac there is a background image. But when I start it from Sleep Mode it is gray, despite it always was desktop background.

How could I know if I have full disk encryption?

Thank's for Safe Mode flickering.

I am having this same problem. Lock screen is OK on boot up but goes grey after going to sleep.

Filevault is disabled but I had Duet installed before upgrading to High Sierra. I tried the post above with the latest version and no luck. I also tried just uninstalling Duet but the problem is still there.

Any other suggestions?
