Dock & Mutitasking not shown under settings

Hi all, I am trying to show recent apps, to activate it (at least in previous osx) there was an option under settings - general- “Multitasking and Dock” but I don’t see that option, that submenu is not anymore! Please note i am using iOS 11.2.1 on an iPhone X

Happy new year!

Hi. Recent apps is a new feature of the iOS 11 floating Dock on iPads. It doesn't exist on an iPhone. You can swipe up from the bottom to access the app switcher and switch apps there, but that's not the same.

When you swipe right (direction of hand motion) on the Home screen, you access the Today screen, with widgets. Scroll to the bottom of that screen and tap Edit. You can add Siri App Suggestions from there.

The Multitasking and Dock option you describe is used to add the last 3 apps used to the right end of the floating Dock on an iPad. This does not exist on an iPhone.
