IPhone X not working with touchscreen gloves?

It could be the display type. I haven't tried gloves with my iPhone X. However, if the screen is working just fine without the gloves, it is rather difficult to say that there is something defective with the phone. I've never had 100% effectiveness with those gloves on other devices anyway. There is no setting or anything like that on the iPhone to ensure they work with 3rd party gloves.

I have the same issue and tried the same things. My girlfriend's iphone 8 seemed to work slightly better, but still poorly. My sister's 6s worked fine. I have an older pair of gloves that worked perfectly fine with my 6, but not my X. The gloves my dad got for Christmas also don't work. That's 3 different brand gloves that won't work with the X or 8, but all work with older phones.

I've heard about issues with the X not being responsive in cold weather. However, while it may be 19 degrees outside, I tried this inside.

Something is odd! I think Apple is doing something that disable it, because I can touch the screen to bring the phone from sleep with my gloves on, then it will not response to any other touch after that, swipe not working, touch not working.

Apple should tell their customer what they did to their phones !!! They should fix it!

And I know it’s fixable because it works before I do the 11.2.5 update!

If your phone is working correctly when not wearing the gloves, I do not know of anything that you can do to the phone to change it. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the phone's operation except it will not work well with your gloves.

I’m having this same exact issue. The same pair of gloves works fine on my iPhone 6s, but not on my X.
