Pink line on screen

I bought a Iphone X 64GB Silver on 30 Dec 2017. On 31 Dec 2017, a pink line appeared on the screen. It hasn't disappeared since. I haven't tampered the phone or dropped it. It seems it is a hardware issue with the phone. Ideally, it should be declared dead on arrival and replaced within 48 hours. Has anyone else seen this issue? What should I do?

I would contact and bring your new iPX back where you bought it.

It a brand new device, and still on warranty for a refund (you have 14 days from the date of purchase).
