Photos Export on Mac: Numbering question

Hello,

Can someone help with this?

I used to use iPhoto and when I exported pics from the library, I was able to get a sequential numbering that stayed consistent. For example, if an album had 100 pics and I exported them with the prefix "Album title", I would get the following file names: "Album title - 01", "Album title - 02", etc. until: "Album title - 100".

Then, when I added new pics to that album, and exported them, they would keep consistent names: "Album title - 101", "Album title - 102", etc. So, in short, the numbering scheme would continue and be based on the actual position of the picture in the album. Later, if I only wanted to export #53 out of 110 pics, it would come with the name "Album title - 53", regardless of the number of photos I exported during a particular export.

Now, with the newer Photos app, I can't find the way to do the same:

* One option allows to number the exported photos based on how many are exported. So in my last example, I would get a file name of: "Album title - 1" even if the pic was in position #53 in the album

* One other option numbers the files with "x of y" suffix, but still is based on how many photos are exported, as opposed to the position in the album.

This is very annoying because every time I add new pics to an existing album and want to extract the files, I have to re-extract ALL the pics from the album, instead of only the new ones... (Meaning erase all previously exported pics from an album, and refresh with a new batch)

Please help if you have the same issue and know how to solve it!
