Cannot sync iPad for "value is missing"?
Cannot repair iPod from being "disabled". How do I find "value missing" requested by iTunes sync?
iPhone 4, iOS 5
I had same problem for months w/ no answers. But just solved it by 1) turning on home sharing on laptop; 2) using accessibility option to authorize same laptop; and 3) restarting iPod while connected to laptop via usb. Now it's finally in restore process. Fingers crossed it works! Hope that helps.
