Dedicated Itunes for Ubuntu?

why apple doesn't provide a dedicated itunes software that work on Ubuntu platforms. There are methods to install itunes in ubuntu which includes a lot of complications! why not a dedicated software for Ubuntu?., am a Ubuntu user and I come across people who have the same Issue! -Is there any reasonable explanation from apple for not providing a dedicated itunes that work on ubuntu OR what am I asking is too much??
