How to stop government alerts on iPad Doesn’t show up on notifications.

How do you stop governmentalerts on the iPad air2? When I go to settings and notifications, there is no option for government alerts like there is on my iPhone.

Are you actually getting government alerts on your iPad?

Under settings, notifications you can turn off amber alerts and emergency alerts but those only apply to cellular telephones (not data only devices like iPads)

However in the USA, the Federal Government can always issue a national alert, and there is no way to stop those (by law). They can also push them to cellular data devices like iPads if they have active cellular service enabled on them (but there have not been any Federal National Emergency alerts anyway).

Otherwise on an iPad, any notifications you are getting will be due to some App.
