Up Next feature broken on Apple TV 4th Gen

For the past several days, the Up Next feature in the TV app on my 4th Gen Apple TV has not been working. It says “You’re all caught up. Start watching something new or add it to Up Next to see it here.” Starting new shoes or movies doesn’t help, as the Up Next queue remains empty. I’ve also tried restarting my Apple TV and turning Up Next off and then back on again. It’s a problem with the TV, as the Up Next queue is just fine in the app on my iPhone (iPhone 7 running iOS 11.2.1). Any help would be much appreciated.

Any chance you have the Disney Now app installed on your Apple TV? I deleted it and Up Next functionality was restored.

I have been having the same problem for the past three days. I erased my Apple TV settings and contents and it started working for an hour. Then I read your comment and I deleted the DisneyNow app and restarted my Apple TV and now the TV App is working. I’ll keep everyone posted but there might be something wrong with the Disney Now app. And I forgot to mention that Siri wasn’t working (she wasn’t pulling up shows for me) and now that is working.

I just received a brand new Apple TV on Sunday, so I didn't have many apps installed before the issue started. I reset the device multiple times and spoke with AppleCare support twice today before I discovered that it was likely an app that was causing the issue. I went one by one until Up Next broke and discovered it was Disney Now. I reached out to the Disney Now App feedback form with detailed information describing the issue this afternoon. I will also follow up with AppleCare support tomorrow with your confirmation of a resolution on this thread. I have an open case number they created as part of my call with them earlier today. Totally agree this will cause chaos with the kids until it's resolved. Hopefully Apple can work with Disney and release an update very soon!

Deleting DisneyNow did the trick for me, too! I’ve been going crazy trying to figure this out. Thank you!

Like someone else said, I have two Apple TVs, but only one of them was having the issue.

I’m curious if it has to do with the provider sign in. We’ve recently changed our provider account to access DisneyNow... anyone else made any changes recently?
