iOS Reminders and switching timezones

I use iOS Reminders and am currently traveling. All my reminders have switched time zones and are all at the wrong times. I wanted them to stay at the same time regardless of timezone. Eg if it’s 9am in London on a Tuesday the reminder will stay at 9am on the Tuesday if in Los Angeles. Is there a way this can be accomplished? I haven’t found a way to make this work. I’m running iOS 11.

Yes, there is a solution. Go to settings>privacy>location services>system services - you should see one that says setting time zone/location-based services and a few others. If you turn this off your phone will stay in the correct time zone you are from and your reminders will be at the right time. While traveling I would wear a watch because the phone will now be set to your own time zone (you can add world clocks in the clock app.
