HAS ANYONE BAEEN ABLE TO RUN THE KARDIA APP ON AN iPhone X?
Kardia cannot access the microphone on my iPhone and quits. Will work on an iPhone 6s running 11.2.1

I am using the latest version of Kardia.
I spoke with Kardia support. Apparently, there are some iPhone X’s which will not permit Kardia access to the microphone. They are aware of this problem and are working on a fix.
Thus the problem seems to be a combination of software AND hardware😳

I have two commonly used apps which use the microphone (in addition to Kardia). You might consider downloading and trying at least one of these.
This is how my phone is set up: Settings are as you stated but I still get the error message
"Kardia uses your microphone to record your EKG but we could not connect to it."

Google Maps "voice" works, so the microphone is working
Kardia will not work even if I turn off the microphone to all other Apps, including Google Maps.
I deleted and then re-downloaded Kardia... still no go.
Apple won't trouble shoot because this is a 3rd party App.
Kardia Tech Support is difficult to connect to.. still waiting for a call-back.

You should be using Kardia version 5.0.2, which was released about three weeks ago.
