Charge your MacBook Pro with an underpowered AC adapter
If an underpowered AC adapter is used for charging a MacBook Pro - does it have any negative impact on the battery?

Can I add a proviso. Ideally it should be an Apple approved charger with the appropriate cable linkage. Some others will do the job but I could not confirm which. Approach the charger manufacturer if that applies.

There is a well known company called iFixit who have a European link here ...
https://eustore.ifixit.com/ More details are on Google under the heading iFixit
The also have British iTech stores. Contact / phone them and explain what you need and what for.
Be sure to specify the model of your MBP and the cables you have.
It will be much slower. Should not affect the battery.
Thank you for answers. I would like to use my old 85W Apple charger as a secondary charger, but that requires some sort of adapter from magsafe2 to usb3.
