Replacement SSD for Macbook Air Early 2015 13-inch

Hi, I have a Macbook Air (Early 2015, 13-inch).

It only has 128GB of space on it's drive. I am looking to upgrade it to around a 500GB drive. I know what tools I need to open the Macbook Air, but I need some help to find the right M.2 drives as I have found out that the Macbook Air(s) from 2013 onwards use custom connectors.

While trying to find a replacement drive, I came across some converters that converted the M.2 connectors to the custom Macbook ones. Do they work properly for all versions of MacOS? I also found some drives that worked but people said that they would freeze when the device was put to sleep or in hibernation. Does anyone know drives that don't do that?

Thanks for your time in advance if you can help!
