Measure recovery heart rate?

Recovery heart rate is a measurement taken promptly after an intense exercise capturing the amount of decrease in the heart rate (bpm) in a short time period (for the first minute). It is used as a measure of the exerciser's level of fitness

Heart rate recovery data can be viewed for individual workouts via the Activity app on your iPhone:


On your iPhone, in the Activity app, go to: Workouts (tab) > tap on a workout > swipe from right to left on the Heart Rate chart to view Heart Rate Recovery data (subject to it having been recorded for that workout).

Hi


After using the Workout app to record a workout, your Apple Watch Series 3 will continue to measure your heart rate continuously for three further minutes after you have ended your workout in order to determine your workout recovery rate.
