Here's the deal, I changed my phone number and for some reason, 4 days after I changed the number, I received an imessage from someone who imessaged me to my old number. I quickly went to settings and clicked on phone, messages and facetime to change the old number to the new one. The real question is, after doing this, will I still get imessages from the old number? HELP!!!

If you are receiving iMessages they are most likely being sent to your AppleID rather than your number.
You can block specific users if you no longer want to receive messages from them - Block phone numbers and contacts on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch - Apple Support
Thank you, I checked it and it was still linked to the old number. I had the number blocked but the person kept texting me from different numbers all the time, so changing my number was the best option! It's now working perfectly! Apple ID is now linked to my new number! Thank you! I really appreciate your response.
If you never deactivated your old number from iMessage, it's still registered to it.
