If I use a credit card in Apple Pay to send someone money to their checking account will it be considered a cash advance from the credit card or a regular charge transaction?

Hi

I suggest that you check with your card issuer. Another user has previously reported, for example, that Bank of America treated their Apple Pay Cash payment as a cash advance and charged them a fee accordingly.

Also keep in mind that Apple Pay Cash itself has a 3% fee on payments that are funded by credit cards.
