Why does my iPhone’s flashlight constantly turn off

So, this has happened every time since iOS 11, but whenever I turn on the flashlight setting in control center, after about 3 seconds the flashlight turns off. I then have to wither turn off and back on the flashlight or slide the brightness setting of the flashlight around. I tried going to the camera application and turning in the flash feature, but the light still turns off after around 3 seconds. When recording, the flash does the same thing.

It turns out it is an issue with the actual hardware, so I would need to have the whole iPhone replaced because it is not an issue that can be replaced by itself. Also, the timing on when the light turns off is varied, and it reminds me of when something is very low on battery and it shuts down, you can try turning it back on and it may turn on for a few seconds, and the more you do this the smaller the time frame gets.

So, just to confirm, you are saying there is a problem with my iPhone and I need to go to Apple? It just seems odd that it’s a specific issue with my phone because it always turns off after the same amount of time, I thought maybe it was a setting.
