does replacement battery help gps and signal issues on iPhone after update?
does replacement battery help gps and or signal issues specifically on iPhone 6 after updating to either iOS 10 or iOS 11. For my iPhone six, my issues came June 2017 after an update to iOS 10. Since then I can't walk more than 5 feet away from my home wifi before I lose signal. My location is completely screwed. I haven't been able to accurately waze or use any of my gps enabled apps since literally June. I am an Uber driver and I have an old iPhone 5s which my brother convinced me to update because his didn't fail, and mine also successfully updated. Now the only way that I can use any gps application, waze, google maps, maps, uber, lyft, even Pokémon- is via my iPhone 5s which is hotspot connected to my iPhone 6. Thank goodness I have unlimited data because since I have had to do this my data usage has increased from less than 2gb monthly, to approximatel 16 gb just from my phone! All of my other devices, aside from my apple watch, which is paired with my iPhone, are working as they should be.
My question is, since my gps is messed up, my wifi is almost nonexistent, and my cell service has reduced to nearly nothing to the point where I tell my dad to expect not being able to reach me, - so is this battery replacement gonna help me at all? Because this is ridiculous. I am one of so many thousands of complaining customers. Please, please! Help!
I know the hardware was rendered useless by the update but this is honestly ridiculous. And, I did purchase a replacement wifi and flex banner for my device but unfortunately my screws have been stripped despite the fact that I have never opened my phone! Very upset :(
