10.13.2 SMB With Server 2012 R2

We recently upgraded our iMACs Retina 5K, 27-Inch Late 2014s To High Sierra. We found after upgrading that when users are connecting to our 2012 R2 Graphics Server that the Finder window freezes when users attempt to move, delete, or rename files which has become very annoying to track down and troubleshoot.

We have attempted the following:

1. Purging Keychain/First Aid with no luck.

2. Adjusting SMB Browsing Behavior as in this article with no luck.

2. Last night we had some success with our SMB issues by disabling SMB encryption on our 2008 R2 Server by issuing the following command Set-SmbServerConfiguration –RejectUnencryptedAccess $false

We figured since our server is inside our firewall who cares if SMB is not encrypted. Most of our iMACs now can connect without issue, we only have had 2 issues today which seems to be much better.

SMB Security Enhancements

Does anyone know why we would still have two iMACs with the same configuration, end user permissions set correctly on the server, ACLs set correctly and still be having this issue?
