battery replacement for 5SE
I bought my 5SE phone when it came out in March 2016. It is thus newer than an iPhone 6. Is it eligible for a new battery?
iPhone SE, iOS 11.2.1, null

Um... yeah...
There is an iPhone 5, and iPhone 5s, and an iPhone SE. They are completely different animals. There is no such thing as a 5SE.
The 5 and the 5s will NOT get discounted battery replacements. The iPhone SE Will if it's found to be bad.

Yes, if the battery in the SE is found to not meet Apple standards, it is covered by the recent Apple announcement.

The phone is referred to as the SE, without the "5".
In actuality it is more akin to the iPhone 6S, as it uses the same processor, but a smaller screen then the 6S.
I stand corrected. I have the SE.
