Random App Downloading

Wondering if anyone else is having an issue with random apps downloading on their device. I get random apps that were deleted previously automatically downloading on my device. This seems to happen after I power cycle my phone while on wifi. If you know how to rectify this issue please assist.

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 11.2.1

If you are sharing the same Apple ID for iTunes purchases as someone else, and have automatic downloads enabled, when they purchase something it will download to your phone as well. To stop this, go to Settings>iTunes & App Store an turn off the settings under Automatic Downloads. (The blue dot indicates it is either new or updated.)
