The Apple TV screen is so magnified so that I cannot use Settings to turn off Zoom feature. This has happened before. How to I get control of the screen size when I can't turn off Zoom because it is too magnified? Is there a way to disable this feature?

Hi Sunsetdude. A triple click (not tap) on the touchpad turns off zoom. If you never want zoom, be sure to turn it off in Settings > General > Accessibility, and in the Accessibility Shortcut at the end of Accessibility.

'To adjust the zoom level, double-tap (not click) and hold your fingers on the trackpad on the Siri Remote. Then, drag your fingers up to zoom in and down to zoom out.'
Try triple-tapping the touch aread. If that doesn't work, tap it once with two fingers, then drag your thumb around on the touchpad to move the area of the screen in vuew around.
I found the User Guide for your TV and I think I found the setting you need to adjust.
First, make sure you have the input selected for your Apple TV. In other words the Apple TV screen is showing on your TV.
Go to Tools > Picture Menu > Picture Options and look for the "Size" selection. You want to set it to "Screen Fit."
I believe your issue has to do with a setting on your TV not the Apple TV.
In your TV settings look for something like an over-scan setting.
If you tell us the make/model of your TV we may be able to help you find the correct setting.
Thanks Diane. Did it and it responded. Still have the problem that the default (turned off) setting is too large. App icons are cut off at edges of screen. Because of this, I can’t see the on off part of the screen for zoom, etc., but it does get larger then smaller but not small enough for all the Apps and settings to fit the screen. What next?
If it's like the version of Android on my Sony TV it's Home, scroll down to the bottom line and click Settings, then Display (I think), then it's the second of the two options. You can choose normal (slight overscan), Full Pixel (show everything) or '-1' (haven't tried that).
could be a tv remote setting rather then an appletv one ?

Thanks for your reply. I checked the Samsung TV settings and no zoom or magnifying turned on. What are the next things to do?
Did it and it zoomed in and out. The problem is the page on zoom in is magnified as well. It is too big for me to operated the Zoom control on/ off in settings. What next?
