My iPhone phone case smells like a hamster

iPhone 7 leather case, phone was bought last year.

Literally smells like a hamster. I don’t own any pets, I don’t work at a pet shop or shelter. Chemistry is not my subject so I have no clue what would make “hamster smell.”

What can I do to get rid of this?

You can try cleaning it:


Use a clean cloth with warm water and mild hand soap to gently clean the iPhone case. You can also use a mild cleaner along with a dry clean cloth. Leathercleaners and conditioners can change the color of leather. Keep your iPhone caseaway from prolonged intense sunlight, heat, and humidity.Jun 6, 2017
