How to get my screen to stop glitching?

I have a Macbook pro and just yesterday it started to glitch. It only glitches when I leave my mouse still as soon as I start moving my mouse it stops glitching. Here is a picture of what it looks like when it is glitching. I go to school for graphic design so if there is anyway to fix this and not lose all of my files that would be great.
