OSX host. Virtualization.

does osx (as host) support kvm?

I'm having the dickens of a time finding documentation on virtualization. I can host my windows xp vm in OSX sierra with qemu but, it's clunky. Does it support KVM? how do i install KVM? or should I use xhyve? can i host a VM in iCloud? for free? mostly I'm having trouble finding info since all of my searches return results with OSX as a guest rather than the host.

MacBook Air, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1), Qemu / KVM

Yep. it's all about running OSX as a guest VM rather than a VM host when it comes to qemu/KVM. So I'm trying Parallels for now, and it's pretty smooth. I did get it working in qemu but it's clunky -no KVM, i cant figure out how to install it. or how to install xHyve

I'm sure they can be hosted in the aluminum cloud of mac books out there, some how. I'll keep you posted. Maybe.
