I'm looking at beginning to offload some video file to iCloud drive.
If I access them via my files (and then iCloud drive), does it download to the phone or is it buffering?
It seems pointless to use it on the phone if it will just download to the phones storage.

Why not store the video in iCloud Photos which is for photos and videos? With iCloud, it will store the original in the cloud and keep a copy on the device.
Hi, my point is, I don't want a copy on the phone, I just want the copies on the iCloud drive.
When I view a iCloud drive file on my phone, will it download to my phone and take up storage space or does it just buffer? Thanks
