Download itunes to iphone 8 plus

Can I download itunes directly to my iphone 8 plus?

Or does it have to have the itunes on the computer I work with?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

iTunes is a computer application available for Mac and Windows. It is not available for iOS. The iTunes Store is an app that comes preinstalled on your iPhone. From that app, you can download the content available in the iTunes Store directly to the phone.

If you can provide a little more information about what you're trying to do, it would be helpful in formulating answers.

OK, Thank you! I get it now.

I also tried to download apps

from the itunes store on my phone,

but am having trouble, first of all

finding them, and second getting them to download

when I do find them. The icons show on my phone but

say loading, or waiting.

I'd suggest trying a different WiFi network. Or, if the apps are small, try cellular data. Some WiFi networks don't seem to play well with the App Store.
