MacOS High Sierra
Finder Preferences > Sidebar
Turn on "CDs, DVDs and iPods"
"Remote Disc" appears in my sidebar. I click on it and a window appears. I tried to drag a file into the window and a popup indicates as shown below but there is no "Authenticate" button.
What is this disc and what is going on?
iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017), macOS High Sierra (10.13.2)
Remote Disk is used to access an optical drive on a remote computer from a computer that does not have an optical drive.

Hanging in there. I read about your ordeal. My ordeal has left me wobbly and weak, but I am otherwise doing OK. Hope you continue doing fine. Us oldfarts need to stick together.
