Hi my Apple ID was locked, I can still use the phone but I can not sign out from it because it prompts and ask for a password. What will happen if I reset it to factory settings via Recovery Mode. Will I get stuck in Activate iPhone?

If [Find My iPhone] is enabled, then yes, erasing will Activation Lock the iPhone. you will need to recover your Apple ID before doing anything of the sort. Yes, at this point, you will need to work on getting your account unlocked. Go through the process of unlocking the account that appears there. if you are not successful you will need to Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support for further help.
If you are on the Activation Lock screen and you enter the correct Apple ID and password, it will unlock the phone and you can proceed through setting up as normal. I am not sure if that is what you were asking or not.
I am not sure If I can activate the phone using the correct Apple ID and password. It is because when I tried to sign in the Apple ID in Find my iPhone or in icloud.com. I am having a prompt to Unlock the Account. So I am afraid I will get stuck in iPhone Activation after the reset.
