File's Modification Date in Finder shows as two different dates, depending if SEARCHING or if BROWSING.
If I *SEARCH* for a specific file, it will show up in theFinder's Search / Spotlight window, and if I have the "Date Modified" column showing, it shows the modified date of the file as 3 Jan 2018.
But if I *BROWSE* to that exact same file in a regular Finder window, and I have the "Date Modified" column showing, it shows the modified date of the file as 9 Jan 2018.
The SEARCH date is definitely wrong, because I hadn't even *CREATED* this file until 5 Jan 2018!
And the File Info confirms this: Created 5 Jan 2018 and Modified 9 Jan 2018.
My question is: how do I get the search results to show the correct modification date for my files?
It's very important for me to have these dates showing up correctly!
The reason I ask is because I like to have a Finder window open, set to a "Saved Search" criteria of my most-recently modified files, so that I can easily see what I have been working on for the past few days, and open up those files again if I'm still working on them.
