Can I use any wireless mouse with Macbook Air?

Hi,

I am new to Mac. The touchpad is good but if I want to get into designing, I will need a mouse. I am wondering what mouse to buy. The one recommended by Apple is a bit costly for me at $80. And it says it needs Bluetooth. I have Bluetooth connected to external speakers most of the time. Can I simply use any mouse with Macbook Air? Like Logitech or Amkette? Will they work properly or will they have issues with accuracy and all?
