Just upgraded to 10.13.2. My Epson Stylus Photo 1280 will not print

With my upgrade from Yosemite, my Epson Stylus Photo 1280 printer is recognized and its utilities can be used, for example to print out a test sheet or do head cleaning, but it will not print out a photo from PhotoShop. I searched for driver downloads, which were up to date, and did download a printer patch. All connections seem sound. I suspect a USB driver issue.

Has anyone else had this problem?
