Hi all,
just got me a new IPhone X and of course wanted to try out the Animoji feature. Now I noticed that the Animoji is playing continuously, just doesn‘t stop. There’s no sound unless you tap on the speaker symbol, but it keeps playing. Is there any way to stop that? Or did I make a mistake when I recorded it?

Just fully close out of the messages app. With the app open, put your finger on the bottom of the app in the middle and keep your finger there while swiping it up halfway up the screen. This will bring up all the recently used apps (like what used to happen when we double tapped the home button). Now hold your finger on any of the recently used apps until a - sign appears in the top left corner of the apps. Either tap the - sign or swipe the app up to fully close it. When you go back into the app, it should be operating normally.

Thank you for your answer. Tried this, but it doesnˋt work, the Animoji is still playing/moving continuously. Guess that‘s normal then?
I used to make little videos with Zoobe (alas this app doesn‘t exist anymore) and they just played once and then stopped. Of course one could replay them but they didn‘t play continuously. That‘s why I was wondering about this.
