the loops don't play after I drag and drop them onto the track. they play when I preview them on the right side but when I drop a loop onto the track theres no sound but the volume bars for that track move just no sound. im sure its something simple im still new to logic

My guess is you don't have the audio output device set correctly or you have the track(s) muted.
The device is set under preferences, audio, devices.

EDIT: NONE of my tracks give sound but the volume bars all move to the beat of the track. could it have something to do with my program is in the process of installing sounds and such?
