I'm trying to connect an HP LP2475w monitor to my new iMac Pro using a thunderbolt 3 to HDMI cable. iMac is not recognizing the monitor. All drivers and software are up to date. Worked fine on old Mac Pro. Thanks!

Then if those do not help?
1. try a different HDMI cable
2. try a different Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to HDMI adapter.
Thanks very much for your reply. After fiddling with it for quite a while, performing updates, securing cables, etc. I gave up and then the next day I woke up the computer and the second display fired up. I hadn't touched anything from the night before. Not sure how that worked. In any case, I'm grateful for the help and glad to have this info for future reference. Cheers!
