NOT WORKING - Adding an Exchange Email Account

Hi all,


I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if anyone knows how to fix it. I am trying to add a new email address through accounts & passwords. I go through the whole process to add an exchange email and it comes up with "iOS Accounts - You can't access this application. iOS Accounts need permission to access resources in your organization that only an admin can grant. Please ask an admin to grant permission to this approve before you can use it." I talked to my IT department and they have no idea. They do not grant access to allow my email address to be added to my phone.


Any help would be awesome!

Have the people in your IT department tried to enter the account for you, so the settings are correct.

Has this new email address been added to the exchange server or active directory?


I don't have any issue adding/removing an Exchange account for our work,

Yes, I literally gave them my phone and they tried it my way and then entered everything manually. I am not sure the answer of the server vs directory. They had mentioned that they think it could be a bug with iOS and adding these kind of accounts that some people are having (and I'm a lucky member of some). I downloaded the newest update last night so I was hoping that would help. Nope.

We have over 30 people with exchange account on their iphones on the latest ios from iPhone 6 to X, on 2 different exchange server 2007 and 2010.
