Open XML File Cannot Be Opened
Does anyone have advice on how to solve this issue? I'm using version 15.28 of MS Word. And I'm using version 10.11.6

XML files are just plain text files without formatting. They are close cousins to HTML files with encoded text values for fields managed by the software itself. Barebones.com Textwrangler can open those directly. TextEdit might work, although if it was opened by Word, it might try to convert it to the best Word equivalent unless you asked it to open as a Text file.
