Is there a way to disable airplay/mirroring ?

My kid keeps pressing the mirror button on the iPad and it pops up with 2 TV’s. Both our Sony smart TVs. It’s very annoying and I’ve tried googling it and it’s always question on why it’s not working. I for one don’t care for this feature and have never used it. We have an iPad and two iPhones.

Is this something I have to disable on the phone? Or the Tv? I’ve researched both and nothing to explain the setting of this feature.

On Netflix there is a mirror button and when pressed both TVs come up. I want this off. Any help would be great
