Split screen for all apps
Can the split screen feature be used for all apps? When i try to open Amazon Videos in split screen, I’m not allowed. It just opens in the full screen

Some video apps may not be coded for the different multitasking screens.
Not every single app available in the iOS App Store is coded for any or all of the different multitasking window modes/features.
Many of the commercial media streaming apps may ONLY be coded for certain multitasking window functions and the smaller PIP function.
Amazon, Netflix and Hulu (not sure about Walmart’s VUDU media streaming service) ONLY allow Slide Over view and PIP.
If you use Vimeo and YouTube in a web browser and in Desktop mode, you CAN watch YouTube and Vimeo videos in Slide Over, Split view or PIP multitasking modes.
The YouTube app won’t allow PIP view without an expensive monthly subscription to YouTube RED for $10/month.
If you use the YouTube desktop version website in an iOS web browser, you can circumvent this limitation and get the PIP functionality without paying Google this ridiculous monthly fee.
