Suggest you upgrade iMovie to version 10.1.8 which is designed to work with High Sierra. If that doesn't help Try deleting iMovie preferences by opening iMovie holding down the command and option keys. Open your library and try sharing your project.

Already running 10.1.8. Deleted it and reinstalled it as well. Problem persisted. I just deleted the preferences and attempted to export the file and it seems to work for now
Looks like a graphics problem. Try deselecting automatic graphic switching in the energy saver panel in systems preferences.
Tried this as well. Machine crashed again while attempting to export
Are you using a Fuji camera? A google search on GFX firmware issues indicates there were firmware updates for Fuji cameras. Could this be your issue?
Using Nikon. Switched to a new memory card and reformatted it as well. Originally thought it might be corrupted files.
