What computer do you have? The adapter will work with a MacBook Pro or iMac USB-C/Thunderbolt-3 port, but not with a MacBook USB-C only port.
Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
So, I have an old VX1000 camcorder, it films onto Mini DV tapes. The cord that transfers data from the camcorder, is a 6 pin FireWire. So, I need an adapter from 6 pin firewire to Thunderbolt, and then Thunderbolt 2 to USB-C....I think.... but, Im worried that USB-C cannot handle the thunderbolt 2 capabilities. I know that Apple makes 9 Pin Firewire to Thunderbolt adapters, and then thunderbolt to USB-C adapters, but would this even work? I would need 6pin to 9pin, then 9pin to thunderbolt, then thunderbolt 2 to USB-C. This will be a little pricey, but if it works indefinitely, im willing to pay the price. PLEASE let me know if anyone has tried using thunderbolt 2 to USB-C adapters, and if they actually work.

Ok so, theres no way to connect a firewire to a Usb-C only port, on a macbook, or even on a pc?... I know some PC's have Thunderbolt...
The FireWire adapter requires Thunderbolt. Should work with a Thunderbolt PC, but may require installing a Windows driver.
If you have a desktop PC, you can get a PCI-e FireWire card.
6 Pin Firewire to USB-C (USB 3.1) is it possible?
