Hi C3,

Try this sequence:

  1. Select the block of cells you want to copy from the table. (I selected all cells in the sample table). Copy.
    User uploaded file
  2. In Pages, click the Text button to insert a text box. Go Edit>Paste and Match Style.
    User uploaded file
This operation strips the table formatting from the copied text, but may leave the right alignment and Centre alignment seen in the first two rows here. To remove those, click in the first line of text, open the Text format Inspector, then click the 'align left' button in the inspector. Repeat for the second line.
  3. Select and copy the text again, then click in the body of the document (outside the text box), and Paste.
    User uploaded file
The text box, containing the text (upper copy) is joined by the same text, pasted outside the box (lower copy).
  4. Click on the upper copy of the text, confirm that your click has selected the text box (it's outline will be visible. and the corners will be marked with square 'handles'), then press delete to delete the text box and its contents, leaving only the non-table version of the text pasted into the document body.
