fingerprint sensor for iMac

I got used on my macbook pro at fingerprint sensor to unlock some app like enpass, 1password and use it instead entering admin password

I was wondering if is possible to add an external ( USB ) fingerprint sensor on an iMac

i did search on Amazon but the seem to work only on windows

Interesting idea, you may want to consider providing feedback to Apple at www.Apple.com/feedback about possibly adding that functionality.

doubt it ms had an external usb one which worked for windows but removed support for it when they released windows xp, external readers was not viewed as secure
