Routined wants to use the "local Items" Keychain Message
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7)
Open keychain access through spotlight , right click on login and click on login keychain .
A window appears , click on delete references and files .
Login keychain is deleted from keychain access application you will see this window .Click on reset to defaults .
Enter the new password for your login keychain and click on ok .
Its not yet over , you have to fill more credentials as web mail password and iCloud settings are also changed .
Click only on iCloud preferences and leave for as it is for web mail password ( don't click on close or continue for gmail password .
Enter in system preferences > iCloud > check the box of find my Mac .Click on allow as shown .
Now , lastly click on continue the pop up for gmail password , that is on extreme corner of the desktop , enter in system preferences > internet accounts select the web mail account ( could be gmail or any ) and fill up the mail address , click on next add the password so that your web mail account is configured once again .
Your new login password is created and saved .
I tried this method literally in my system and the screen shots are original as what they appeared in the desktop and have to reset my home page Set your homepage in Safari on Mac - Apple Support
And has to open airport utility , click on edit and enter base station password to get it also saved , this method is complicated but was interesting .

I recently upgraded to High Sierra and always get prompt - routined wants to use the "local Items" keychain. doesn't seem to accept any password entered, but goes away temporarily after clicking cancel several times.
any solutions to this prompt?
