since iOS11 my iPhone 6s and iPhone X I have the Siri turned off, inclusive all the Apps search options are off.
but strangely in the Battery usage, Siri keeps always listed !!!
does anyone has this problem ?
The iOS is in German, but I believe is possible to understand it
Settings - Siri - every possible switch is off
then Settings - Battery and:
I have Siri off since the last year before Christmas and keeps showing up in the Battery usage list !!!
I am having this issue too! I haven’t event used Siri... I took an update recently on my IPhone 8 Plus and ever since my battery is toast! I have resorted to always have battery save on. I came here looking for a solution to the battery/Siri issue too!
I have the same issue for three days now. I didn‘t even update my iPhone X. My battery just drained suddenly within half a day, although all Siri settings are off (since I got my phone 3 months back). I even had it on Do not disturb today and didn‘t use it for 5 hours and still battery lost over 60%.

Hi Katisa,
I turned Siri off, and went thru all the apps in the Siri setting and turned them off too. When I did that the Siri power issue went away. I have slowly added back some apps in the Siri search option to see if there is a app/power leak w/Siri.

no Siri usage the whole day, still 67% battery left.

I don’t believe there is any way to turn Siri completely off.
Try holding the iPhone 6S’ home button. Does this invoke Siri, even wi your settings?

It comes the possibility to "activate" Siri
I can't not believe that I am alone with this "symptom"
somewhere very deep in the iOS the Siri is always active, thats my idea, and we are not able to turn it completely off
You’re not alone. I just noticed this as well and I have everything Siri related off. Came here looking for answers as well.
I just started having this problem with iPhone 8. Phone is several months old but in the last few days battery is being drained ny Siri. Not using seri. Hey seri turned off.

I backuped my phone and restored it to factory, then put the backup on it. That seemes to help. after 8 hours and flight mode still 100% battery.
