My wallet app does not have a plus sign to add a card

Even after updating iOS and wallet app The wallet app doesn’t show a plus sign to add a card Anyone experiencing the same problem that found the solution? Kind regards Friedel

Apple Pay is available:


On eligible devices, which include iPhone X:


In selected countries:


If you are using an eligible device and are within one of those regions, then check that your iPhone region is set accordingly:

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > General > Language & Region > Region.


Also follow all of the required steps here:


Set up Apple Pay on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac - Apple Support


Note that it is only possible to add supported payment cards from participating banks or stores within those countries.

Hi Jonathan,


Thanks for posting the info from the FAQ section.

I read that a few days ago, I also:

Changed banks in Spain to get an account with Banco Santander which offers Apple Pay.

Updated the iOS,

The iOS of my watch,

went to my local Apple premium dealer,

Where they did a hardware check of my phone,

I updated all the info on my Apple ID put everything in Spain and Spanish,

But after that I am still unable to add a card to my wallet app,

Anyone here who is an expert on these things?
