SMS notification problem

iPhone screen does not light up or make a sound when sms comes. I only find unread messages when press button.

Notifications for sms are all ON, DND is not active, tried to restart iPhone, iOS is latest.

Other apps notifications work fine.

Hey vadiik158!

I can appreciate why not receiving message notifications might be a hassle for you, so let me see how I can help. It looks like you've already done some great, extensive troubleshooting, so thanks for filling us in. To get things started, just go ahead and back up your iPhone using whichever method is most convenient.

Once that's done, head to Settings > General > Reset and select "Reset All Settings". This won't erase any personal information, it just resets a few things back to default (such as your wallpaper, ringtones, brightness settings, etc.). Test to see if the notifications are coming through normally. If not, we'll need to eliminate all third-party data and test from a clean software install, because it could be a confliction created between third-party data and iOS 11. Since you'll already have a back up from the last step, just follow these steps to restore your iPhone to factory new settings: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

Be sure to let me know how this works out for you, and if you have any questions about the steps moving forward.

Cheers!
