Light stays green on power cable, but battery is not charging

Hi. My battery indicator is at 44%, and it is plugged in to the mains. Even thought the battery is not fully charged, the display light in the power cable stays green and my battery is not charging.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what do you suggest I do?

Thanks,

e

I have the same problem. My mac was at 100% and so I used it, unplugged, for a little bit. Plugged it back in at 95% and the light on the charger mag head stayed green but it wasn't charging. Unplugged it until it was at 85% and then tried it again but the mag head was still green and no charging. The icon says it's plugged in but I checked the battery and noticed there is no amperage going in . . .

Battery Installed: Yes
First low level warning: No
Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 3216
Remaining Capacity (mAh): 2652
Amperage (mA): 0
Voltage (mV): 12009
Cycle Count: 77

Does anyone know what's the problem? Is it the charger or the battery?
