Clear from play history not working

A few weeks ago the clear from play history option on the “watch now” tv app sub menu on appletv stopped working. So when I click and hold on the Apple remote to bring up the sub menu, and select "Clear from play history" nothing happens. The option is nonresponsive

I’m going to try and call Apple this weekend but as a temporary work around I found that downloading the TV app on an iPhone/iPad you can clear an item from the play history there. Tap and hold to bring up the submenu.

I'm having the same issue. It's been happening with my AppleTV for a few months now and I just bought a second one (4K) and it's doing the exact same thing.

Seems like it is probably iCloud related given none of the TVs are working in my house.
