iCloud is saying the iPad is in lost mode pending. I've read previous support dialogue that say's it's possible to turn off lost mode by clicking lost mode and then 'turn off lost mode'. I don't see that option in my iCloud though when I click 'lost mode', see screen shot below. Any idea how I can turn it off?

Are you following the steps here -- Find My iPhone: Lock and track your device using Lost Mode OR iCloud: Lock and track your device using Lost Mode.
This is the dialog for enabling Lost Mode, not disabling it.
Where is the device now? Does it display a Lost Mode dialog? Can you enter your usual passcode and get in to your device?
I've tried to do it on icloud.com and on my iPhone 7. I've tried following the steps below, but the option to stop lost mode is not available.
For Apple Watch or an iOS device, you can also follow the steps below to change the contact information displayed on your lost device or disable Lost Mode.
Note: If your credit and debit cards for Apple Pay were suspended because you put your device in Lost Mode, when you turn off Lost Mode and sign in to iCloud, you can resume using your cards.
